Meet Joseph
One of Jacob’s sons was named Joseph. Joseph had a dream that he would rule over all his brothers. This made his brothers mad and they sold him to some travelers who were going to Egypt. Joseph reminds us of Jesus. When Jesus was on earth many people treated Him unkindly too, but He always forgave them. The Israelites kept living in Egypt for a long time. A new Pharaoh came who did not know Joseph and did not like the Israelites living in his land. This Pharaoh was not nice to God’s people. The Israelites prayed for God to save them. Next, we will see who God sent to save His people.
