Hi, I am Our Lady of Guadalupe.
My feast day is December 12th.
I am the Patroness of the Americas and of Mexico. I appeared to Saint Juan Diego and asked for a church to be built in my honor, but the bishop did not believe him. I told Juan Diego to gather roses and when he opened his cloak and released them before the bishop, my image appeared on his cloak. My image is now Mexico’s most popular symbol.
