Meet Rahab

Rahab lived in the Promised Land, but she was not an Israelite. When the Israelites arrived they needed help getting into the Promised Land. Joshua sent spies into the city. The leaders of the city were mad. Rahab hid the spies on the roof of her house so the soldiers would not find them. Rahab saved their lives! Later, when the Israelites took over the Promised Land they told Rahab to hang a red cord in her window. The red chord meant that the Israelites should not take over her house. The red chord reminds us of Jesus who saved us with His blood when He died on the cross.
